So today I will post about one of my boys,
and the first one has to be Beanie really!
Beanie is special,
Born at 33 weeks, the week before Christmas.
Small, jaundiced, and with infections.
On antibiotics, in NICU.
The biggest emotional rollercoaster of my life.
He crawled at 9 months and walked at 15.
He was potty trained at 2 and a half.
He didn't talk until he was gone 3,
but came out with full sentences
and words we had to look up! (seriously).
He is a bright little spark.
But at 18 months I thought he had OCD!
He spent hours lining cars up bumper to bumper,
moving the first one half an inch
and then the next 90 half an inch, one at a time.
He is very clingy, still. He likes routine.
He likes to know what we are doing in advance.
The first week of the new school year upsets him.
He doesn't know what is happening and where he stands.
He gets uptight if things go wrong.
He sees only black and white, there is no grey.
If he is told not to do something he won't do it
and heaven forbid anyone that does!
He loves his little brothers, even though they annoy and upset him.
He is obsessed with Star Wars.
Every conversation gets turned into a Star Wars conversation.
He knows everything about it.
He loves history, world war 2, and maths!
At times I find him a little fascinating,
watching the cogs turning and working out how he comes to answer some questions.
He has an inquisitive mind.
He loves his cuddles, he loves being close.
He loves being outdoors, at the beach house,
spending one on one time with his grandparents.
He loves brussel sprouts!
Beanie is our special baby,
who has grown and become one very special boy!
(and he loves Maddie!)
and I love him loads.
